Owl N.E.S.T. (Nature, Engineering, Science, Technology) is a program that will be taught mostly outdoors in V-O’s Science Park. Students will learn about the natural habitat that exists right outside their classroom!
Students will get ready to dig, build, explore, and discover! This program is STEM in Nature where science, technology, engineering, and math come to life through the wonders of nature. Each week, students will step outside the classroom and into hands-on adventures—designing bug habitats, building bird feeders, exploring plant life cycles, and more.
Join us for a hands-on, muddy-boots, bright-ideas kind of learning!
Tuesdays, 2:30pm-3:30pm
Grades: Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th
Fall 2025 Session: September 23rd through December 2nd

NOTE: Classes will NOT be held on early release days and no school days.

All students enrolled in classes at Owl Academy are expected to adhere to the code of conduct outlined in the WPS Elementary School Handbook. By enrolling your child into any Owl Academy class, you and your child acknowledge that your child will adhere to the code of conduct as stated in the WPS Elementary School Handbook.
